The Mansfield ISD is currently looking for individuals who would like to apply to be the district's Head of Delegation for the Mansfield ISD All Stars, A Special Olympics Texas Team. The Mansfield ISD All Stars, A Special Olympics Texas Team program was started in 1986 by Harriet K. and Maurie J. with the help of Imogene G., Mansfield ISD Director of Special Education at the time. They started with six athletes and two coaches.

From those simple beginnings the program currently has over fifty athletes and seven coaches. We participate in Aquatics (Swimming), Athletics (Track & Field), Basketball, Bocce, Bowling, Cycling and Soccer. We participate in local competitions in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Greater Fort Worth Area (Area 11) Competition, as well as Texas Chapter Games.

The purpose of this website is provide helpful information to athletes, coaches, volunteers and potential athletes, coaches and volunteers of the Mansfield ISD Special Olympics program.

Be sure to check back often for information and updates. There are plenty of things going on and hopefully you will make this a frequent place to visit and learn about what is going on.

	Aquatics Practices are being held at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Registration for this sport is now closed. We can not take on any more new athletes or any athletes that are not at least eight (8) years of age on April 5, 2008. To learn more about the program, please click on this link.

	Athletics Practices are being held at James Coble Middle School on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm To learn more about the program, please click on this link.

	Basketball Practices are being held at The Rock Gym on the following days: Middle/High Schools - Mondays 6:30 to 7:30 pm Individual Skills - Tuesdays 6:00 to 6:30 pm Elementary/Intermediate Schools - Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30pm To learn more about the program, please click on this link.
